The Adjutant – Адъютант tomato is a Russian variety. It was added as an official variety in the Agricultural State Register of Russia in 2015.The fruits are a bit elongated and oblong in shape, with some of the fruits even looking like oxhearts. The color is dark brown with darker shoulders that are almost greenish black and are of average size about 4-5 ounces. The flavor is characteristic of black tomatoes with complex, aromatic flavor and Juicy flesh. Finally what makes this variety so special is its long shelf life of over a month, making it a good one to make sure you have some tomatoes to get through the early winter.
