Indeterminate vines produce ripe fruit in 100+ days from transplant. Developed by Bill Jeffers from the crossing of ‘Indian Stripe’ and ‘Big Cheef F1’ tomato. Initially the original crossing was done by breeder John Beidler of Connecticut. The fruits are between 6-14 ounces, brownish red and have dark shoulders. While these tomatoes weren’t stolen from Africa and brought to America, this tomato has a flavor that packs the punch of the greatest buffalo soldier with the sweetness of a dreadlock Rasta. These delectable fruits are categorized as beefsteak tomatoes and have a nice round uniform shape. These bad boys have an intense savory and sweet rich flavor as well as a hearty meaty texture dripping with juice.
