Golden King of Siberia

80-95 days for mature fruit, vines are indeterminate but usually star low and bushy. This variety has a complex history.The Golden King of Siberia tomato originated in Russia, but funny enough no Golden King of Siberia actually tomato can be found in Russia. However, there are two different varieties one called Korol Sibiri (King of Siberia) and the other is called Zolotoy Korol (Golden King). So what happed? Nobody knows. In 2010 the seeds were given to Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, who grew them out and concluded that they were phenotypically similar enough to both varieties so they were named with both names merged. The fruits are huge yellow oxhearts with deep sweet flesh and low acid. People love to eat them fresh like an apple picked fresh off the vine in the garden sun.
