First made its appearance in the 1997 Seed Savers Yearbook by Barbara A. Lund of Blue Creek, Ohio (OH LU B). She received the seeds in 1988 from Donald Tolley of Charleston, West Virginia.

The fruit are round and rippled of average size. The color is pale ghostlike yellow with red patches shining through. The flavor is delicious and sweet and perfect for eating straight up.
