A very rare heirloom tomato introduced by Lisa Von Saunder, a collector of endangered heirlooms. The pink flamingo tomato is originally from the Ukraine and is said to be as pink as a flamingos feathers.
The fruit size varies from very large to small and is shaped like a ribbed beefsteak tomato. The flavor is rich and sweet and the texture is smooth and buttery, yet has a real juicy consistency. Great for sandwiches or a fresh salad.
