The Opalka tomato is believed to have originated in Poland circa 1900. Like the Amish paste Tomato variety, Opalka is a favorite of the red paste tomatoes. The shape of the fruit is similar to a large chili pepper (about 3&#8243;-5&#8243;) and grows on wispy Indeterminate tomato vines.
