Created by Madame Jacqueline Morel of Saint-Uze, France.\u00a0She named it after her dog, Surpriz.\u00a0This variety is the original and not the same as the variety &#8220;Surpriz from North America.\u00a0The fruits are heart shape and have an earthy red color with bright \u00a0green stripes. The inside flesh is both green and pink. \u00a0Fruits average between 4-6 oz.
