It is a cross between Beauty King tomato and Blue Tomato. The fruits are small to medium sized beefsteak tomatoes, and the color is pinkish red on the inside with almost a violet purple skin that reaches black coloring on the shoulders. This might just be the most beautiful tomato you will ever see.

The flavor is fantastic, but not strong. It has mild flavor, well balance between sweet notes and is very fragrant, almost like a beautifully balanced floral tea. This tomato insinuates a lot with its flavor, so listen closely and see for yourself what it is telling you and don’t overlook it because it’s not an extroverted tomato. The Blue Beauty has the delicate refinement of Elizabeth Taylor. If you are looking for a Lucille Ball tomato I suggest Jaune Flame or an Allure tomato.

$8.00

Waitlist

More plants?Come to the Garden of Eat’n and discover our 2021 varieties.

Continue shopping

Blue Beauty has been created by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms in Napa California.
