I have been growing it for years and the only time\u00a0I\u00a0didn&#8217;t see any flowers was when I cut it down. It is a massive plant that can grow 6&#8242; x 6&#8242; in a year or two. The green foliage, with bright red flower petals that dangle from black stems is quite the show stopper. There is a slight herbal but not sweet\u00a0fragrance that also makes it a delight in a garden.
