Not as bitter as most Chicories. \u00a0This variety is best grown in cool weather or semi shaded areas in the garden. Be cautious with watering 10-14 days before maturity as not enough water can lead to bitter flavor. Once harvested the Pink Radicchio can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks. This variety is one of the most beautiful and delicious salad lettuces I have ever seen and tasted.
