The Wolverine Tomato comes from Dean Slater’s selection of the Great White Blues tomato which is a cross between Great White x OSU P20 tomato by Stephanie Marier. This is a great beefsteak for sandwiches.
The flavor is slightly acidic and tangy and has very meaty flesh. The skin is dark brown and creates stripes from the shoulders down to the hips of the white flesh of the fruit and look like the claws of the Marvel character Wolverine.
