Cassidy’s Folly is a most unusual fruit because of it’s strikingly dynamic color and markings. The fruits will either be disappear fast from your table by tomato addicts or sit on the table like an art object that is too beautiful to eat.
It was created by Tom Wagner of Everett Washington. They are extremely difficult to grow as they are very prone to pest problems, tomato viruses and blossom end rot.
This fruit is very rich and bright plum in color of red and yellow tie dye wave stripes with metallic gold lines.
The flavor is smokey and rich, yet sweet and tangy. The skin is thin and the flesh is meaty and buttery smooth. You won’t want to pass on this tomato!
