Indeterminate vines produce ripe fruit late in the season in about 85 to 90 days. The seeds were originally gifted from Mrs. Ed Tuxhorn form Indiana. This tomato is believed to be a heirloom that was carried across the Appalachians. They were were offered in the 1991 Seed Savers Yearbook by Will Bonsall who got the seeds from Mrs. Ed Tuxhorn. Eventually they were released for commercial sale by Solana Seeds. The fruit is marbled red and yellow and big. Very delicious sweet fruity flavor. Perfect for eating fresh or serving with your favorite fillet. Compliments well with vanilla ice cream, if you are adventurous.
