Introduced in 1995 by Dr. Carolyn Male, but originally a family heirloom from Germany.
It is essentially an Oxheart tomato, but shaped surprisingly like a strawberry. These tomatoes are big (larger than an apple) with creamy inner flesh, thin skin, and few seeds.
The flavor is delightful and sweet and good for about any food application.
