Big white pink stripe

, , ,

First made its appearance in the 1991 Seed Savers Exchange Yearbook by Glenn Drowns from Iowa. Glen got the original seeds from Donald Branscomb from Clearlake, California.

Little else is known about its origin, but this variety packs a big tropical fruity flavor, with hints of peach, and passion fruit.

The fruit is large and more yellow / orange than white and boasts more of an iridescent skin with a whisper of a pale red stripe.
