Fruits ripen mid season in around 75-85 days from transplant. Indeterminate vines with vigorous production. Created by Madame Jacqueline Morel of Saint-Uze, France. She named it after her dog, Surpriz. This variety is the original and not the same as the variety “Surpriz from North America. The fruits are heart shape and have an earthy red color with bright  green stripes. The inside flesh is both green and pink.  Fruits average between 4-6 oz. The flavor is sweet and tastes like tropical fruit.
