Indeterminate, fruits ripen in 80 days. Said to be a cross between “Green Zebra” and “Marvel Striped” tomato, discovered by Jeff Dawson in Sebastopol, California. He named it “Copia” after the American Center for Food, Wine and the Arts, in Napa California.
In 2003, it was released commercially by Totally Tomatoes. The Copia tomato is a stunning beauty. It has mild pastel stripes of red, orange, yellow, and white. The inside of the fruit is striped as well, which makes Copia a most unusual tomato.
The flavor is mild, but has a juicy sweetness.
