Originally from Kosovo, The Elephant Pepper is a bizarre and unique plant. When ripe the skin develops a grey cracked surface resembling the skin of an elephant and firm red flesh. They are not hot and have the same Scoville rating as a paprika pepper and many applications in cooking from fresh eating to grilling.
