An unusual mistake cross in my sisters garden from last year, believed to be from Vintage Wine and another variety, currently being stabilized. Remarkably, on the same vine, there are red fruit, alongside of yellow when ripe tomatoes, while some of the fruits are bicolored with green shoulders.
The tomato has the colors of the reggae flag. The tomato was named after my niece who almost died at birth due to serious complications. Despite her difficulties, she is thriving and expected to live a normal life. Despite the several surgeries that she has had, she remains one of the happiest children and shares her infectious smile wherever she goes.
