From Sicily. A wonderful red tomato good for canning, salads, or eating off the vine. Fruit of the Rio tomato is very ordinary looking, red, round, and small to average. What it lacks for fashion, it makes up for flavor, having a crisp firm texture, and deep sugary taste.
