Believed to be a mutation of the French red heirloom, Marmande. Marmande Vert was first introduced in the Seed Savers catalogue in by Neil Lockhart of Oblong, Illinois in 2010.
It is a green when ripe tomato of average size with a flavors of nectar and citrus.
