“Minibel” is an extra small bush micro dwarf variety. It originally comes from the Netherlands and is marketed as a commercial variety. It is a determinate micro dwarf. Minibel grows a bit longer than other micro dwarfs with a very similar growth pattern to the Golden Pearl Dwarf, it reaches about a foot tall. Minibel produces ripe fruit in 60 days from transplant.
The fruits are big red cherries with a nice strong tomato flavor. Some people describe it is tart, but I found it to be intense, sweet and balanced. It is a wonderful tomato to grow in a pot or at the edge of a garden bed.
