Indeterminate vines, fruits ripen in 75 days Ozark Sunset tomato was created by Double Helix Farm. It was released in 2013. Besides being an unusual looking fruit, it an unique tomato because of it’s ancient species tomato genes, mixed with a flavorful heirloom from the modern day parentage.
The fruits are small, but bigger than cherry size tomatoes, pink in color with purple / black blotches and shoulders. The dark color is increased from good sun exposure and cool climate.
The flavor is delicious! It is very fruit-forward and plummy, with a long sugary sweet aftertaste.
