Early winged bean from Japan. Grows great in both sunny gardens as well as in shade gardens. A favorite crop in Okinawa, Japan. The vines are exotic looking and have blue/lavender flowers followed by a cerated winged pod that tastes delicious. This bean is traditionally blanched before stir frying it.
