Yuko’s Persimmon

Mid season, about 80 days for ripe fruit. Vines are Indeterminate regular leaf growth habit. This variety was named for the wife of Canadian tomato breeder Jeffrey Casey. He says he named the tomato after his wife Yuko “and the incredible persimmon like texture and flavour”.  The variety was a selection of the favorite Russian Persimmon but the fruits are larger. The fruits are deep orange with flat ribbed fruits and extremely creamy and juicy texture. The flavor is one of the best! Very fruity and tropical sweetness.
