Mid season variety taking about 85 days for ripe fruit. The vines are semi indeterminate.
This variety is widly considered to be the best green when ripe (Gwr) tomatoes in existence. The variety was released in 2014 and was discovered by Bill Jeffers in a row of his “lipsticks” tomato patch, part of the Gale line.
The fruits are not too big (mid sized), coming in under 10 oz, with beautiful light green beefsteaks with dark Jade shoulders. The inside flesh has some marbling with a nice pink blotchy interior spread all over green juicy flesh.
The flavor couldn’t be more unique and delicious, sugar sweet with spicy notes and hints of tropical fruit. It is a sharp, intense, sweet and spicy tomato. As an added bonus, this variety is very aromatic.
