Mid season variety takes about 85 days for ripe fruit. Indeterminate vines. Said to be a recent cross of “Join or Die” (Belle du Colège) and “Beyond Verde Claro” created by Tom Wagner. First it was named “Join or Die”, but under pressure Tom renamed it in 2009 to “Beautiful College” to honor Alfred College (Agriculture, Canada). The variety is said to trace back to the Berkeley tie dye tomato. The fruits are round, yet flatted, weigh about 8-10 ounces, and are covered in dark green streaks with light green and burgundy skin. The flavor is tasty with dense, juicy pink flesh and a complex flavor.
