Indeterminate variety, and mid season producing fruit in about 80 days.  Bonbonera is Spanish for chocolate box. It comes from the French bonbonnière, which refers to a sweet fragrant box filled with bonbons which are often given as a party favor for special occasions like baptisms, first communion, or weddings. Like the ever favorite Sungold tomato, the Bonbonera tomato is also unstable and considered a hybrid. The fruits are very unique dark chocolate colored cherry tomatoes inside and out with some reddish brown tints. The flavor is like candy and extremely sweet. This variety grows well as a container plant and produces high yield.
