The Explosive Ember Pepper has a pretty decent heat level measuring about 30,000 – 50,000 SHU (Scoville heat units). From the species Capsicum Annuum. These are very colorful and ornamental peppers with a nice sweetness and are about 4 to 20 times as hot as a jalapeño. They have the old fashioned Christmas light shape and transition from purple to red and various colors in between. They look beautiful upon the dark black foliage.
