Mid Season variety with fruits ripening in over 80 days or longer. Indeterminate vines. This is an average sized tomato that is said to come from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. It has a white epidermis making it one of the whitest of tomato varieties. Old Laos legend has it that during a full moon, the villagers place this white tomato on the windowsill to detect the presence of ghosts. Legends of ghosts are very important to the people of Laos. The saying goes that If the fruits begin to glow, there is a visiting spirit in your garden. The fruits are small to medium, about 5-7 ounces of very white fruits. The flavor is mild with a hint of sweetness and very juicy. There is practically no acid in these fruits, which makes it a good choice for those who can’t usually eat tomatoes.
