‘Matina’, An heirloom variety, originally from Germany, a perfect balance of sweet and acid. Indeterminate plant, ripe fruit in 85 days. The seeds were sourced in Zürich, Switzerland.
The fruits are large cherry tomatoes, and while having the appearance of a basic red cherry tomato, the flavor has the characteristics of what one would consider a perfect tomato; juicy, yet firm in texture, sweet, savory, rich, and a touch of acidity. All in all, the Matina is a crowd pleaser!
