A very old heirloom tomato that originated in England and was bred by the F Stoner Seed company. It was named for the abundance of fruit that the plant produces. It was released in 1913 and made it’s way to the USA, where it gained popularity in the 1960’s for being a great tasting uniform shaped tomato.
The fruits are red and medium sized.
The flavor is sweet, savory, and rich, creating the perfect tomato flavor with a fantastic meaty texture.
