“Pebrot” is pepper in Catalan. These tomatoes are shaped like a chili pepper and vary in size.
The color is light red when ripe, and the flavor is savory and extremely sweet. It is earthy and pungent with a long salty and spicy aftertaste. The texture is crisp and firm and more similar to a non ripe tomato even when ripe.
Our seeds were sourced in a nearby village near Castilla di Peralada.
