95 days to ripen fruit after transplant. Plants are indeterminate and will grow up until the cold frost arrives. A 1994 variety discovered in Valle Crucis, North Carolina in the growing field by Keith Mueller. An outlier growing next to the other tomatoes and didn’t match the growth pattern but was growing next to both‘Mountain Pride’ and ‘Better Boys’ and either variety could have fathered the Cow Tit. Keith asked the transplanter about it but he insisted that hadn’t planted any varieties like that then remarked that “it looks like a cow’s tit”. The fruits are elongated paste tomatoes with dark red color and rich earthy and salty flavor with a hint of acidity. These are perfect for sauce.
