Recent creation by Tom Wagner. Small round fruit of 60 to 90 grams, zebra green with dark shoulders. Has the woolly gene which has the effect of giving it a fluffy appearance, peach skin. Interesting variety to grow but does not like rain, light green foliage. Good fruit production with a softer flavor than “Green Zebra”.
Woolly Green Zebra is a favourite French gardeners heirloom tomato variety. Very easy to grow indeterminate variety. Lots and lots of medium size round fruit. Fuzzy skin, just like a peach, Green with yellow stripes when ripe . Very tasty and slightly tangy, this continues to fruit over a long period and look great in a mixed colour tomato salad .
