Developed by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farm in Napa California. A fairly new variety created as an unintentional cross between indigo Apple and pink Berkeley tie dye tomatoes.
The fruit is considered the darkest of tomatoes in existence today and the flavor is unusually delicious for a dark skin tomato. It is high in anthocyanin (the same antioxidants found in blueberries) and has considerable health benefits. Produces welling cool climates.
