75 days till maturity. Chicory Orchidea Rossa (AKA The Red Orchid) is one of the earliest and easiest radicchio to grow. The color is deep red and they form beautiful rosette-shaped heads. The Chicory Orchidea Rossa is at its best in fall because the color is most intense red. If you plant in early spring you can get a harvest before the blazing hot summer but this variety can be planted any time for baby salads.
