Indeterminate Dwarf plant, mid season variety producing ripe fruit in 70 days from transplant. Plants max out at about 4 feet tall. Fruits range from 7 ounces to over a pound of intense sweet honey dew melon fruit forward flavor followed by crisp sour apple acidity. This variety also has intense aromatics and intense flavor for such a small plant. The Big Green Dwarf is the result of a cross of  the ‘Golden Dwarf Champion’ tomato and the ‘Cherokee Chocolate’ variety. It was developed by The Dwarf Tomato Project in 2014 and was originally named “Cheeky” and later renamed “The Big Green Dwarf” is the result of the work of Patrina Nuske Small, Craig LeHoullier, Marjorie Holloway, and Bill Minkey.
