Released in 2013 by Oregon State University. The variety was created by natural and traditional breeding methods.

The fruits are cherry sized and very dark. They contain anthocyanin, which is the same dark color as in eggplants and are high in antioxidants. When fully ripe, these tomatoes are dark blue/black on the shoulders and red on the bottom. The color is depend on sun exposure during the ripening stage, the more direct sun the fruit receives the more the fruits will be blue/black.

The flavor is good, but what really makes this tomato special is it’s beautiful color. The flavor is very juicy and sweet.
