Determinate mid season variety, takes 70-80 days from transplant for ripe fruit. Developed by Pascal Moreau and named after Jean Michel Rouffiange, the founder of the Tomato Festival in Sambreville. The Extravagante Rouffiange tomato produces perfect 3-5 ounce round and striped black woolly fruits in clusters upon woolly, angora plants and foliage. This variety comes from Seattle’s Blue Wooly Mammoth splitting in 2012. The flavor is really special, having good tomato flavor, spicy notes, herbs, and hints of acidity but doesn’t compromise the sweetness. A true masterpiece of flavor and beauty.
