Created by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms in Napa California, and named after the author, activist, journalist, and UC Berkeley professor Michael Pollan.
The fruits are slightly pear shaped and slightly larger than a cherry tomato. The color is green with yellow and dark green stripes.
The flavor is very acidic, and not too sweet.
