Indeterminate vines produce ripe fruit in 70-80 days from transplant. The Reinhard’s Green Heart was developed in 2007 out of the desire to grow a green when ripe oxheart tomato by Reinhard Kraft in Neukirchen, Germany. He achieved his goal and created the first ever green when ripe oxheart tomato. It is the result of crossing a pink oxheart with The Cherokee Green Tomato and the fruits are beautiful and delicious. They are sweet, fruity, juicy, meaty, and floral and range from 7-10 ounces. Reinhard release other grow outs in 2015 including Reinhard’s Chocolate Heart and Reinhard’s Purple Heart.
