Chicory Rosa (Pink Radicchio)

Pink Chicory, also known as Radicchio La Rosa del Veneto in Italy, is a bright pink loose headed radicchio and Matures in 120 days. Not as bitter as most Chicories.  This variety is best grown in cool weather or semi shaded areas in the garden. Be cautious with watering 10-14 days before maturity as not enough water can lead to bitter flavor. Once harvested the Pink Radicchio can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks. This variety is one of the most beautiful and delicious salad lettuces I have ever seen and tasted. If you are looking for something rare this is it!
