Indeterminate variety takes about 80 days for ripe fruit. The Painted Ukrainian tomato is an old variety from the Ukraine. It was first introduced commercially by The Tomatofest in the early 2000’s. These fruits were part of a two year project where all the proceeds were donated to assist in the humanitarian relief for the crisis in Eastern Ukrainian.Large yellow heirloom tomato with pink stripes that penetrate both the outer skin and inner flesh. In some fruits, the center is accented with a bright pink stain and often exceed one pound. Having few seeds, the fruit is almost entirely flesh. It is very sweet and creamy, with tropical fruit notes and a bright aftertaste of loquats and litchi. This is a truly unusual fruit! Performs well in cold climates.
