The color of the China Jade Cucumber flesh is so unusual because of its green jade color. Besides being beautiful, it is delicious and abundant in its harvests. This variety comes from northern China and reports claim it was brought to the East from Western China during the Han Dynasty way back in 216. These slender and long tender cucumbers will grow even if the flower isn’t pollinated. This variety is incredibly sweet and refreshing and makes for the perfect snack on those hot summer days.
